GIVE IT UP 2012 ENDED 8th March

Welcome to the blog of One25′s exciting fundraising campaign: ‘Give it up for One25′; the 125 day charity challenge with exclusive Ed Sheeran finale concert.

What’s it all about?

Ed Sheeran

Ed Sheeran is playing an exclusive finale concert for us!

Give something up for 125 days (this started on 4th Nov 2011) or 125 hours (anytime before 8th March 2012) and help support vulnerable women in Bristol to build new lives, by raising money for One25.

Number 1 selling album artist, Ed Sheeran, and one of his greatest musical inspirations, Luke Concannon (Nizlopi), will be wrapping the whole campaign up in an exclusive concert for all who raise over £125 in this campaign.

How do I take part?
Step 1: Sign up by clicking here and telling us what you will be giving up and for how long.

Step 2: Give something up for 125 days starting 4th November 2011, or 125 hours anytime before 8th March 2012.

How do I raise money?

Set up an online fundraising page here at JustGiving  (this will take your directly to the ‘Give it up for One25′ event).

  • Sponsorship:   Send a link to your online page to everyone you know, with a plea for their support.
  • Savings:   Donate onto your page what you would have spent on the thing you’ve given up. It’ll soon build up!
  • Fines:   Pay onto your page, if and when you break your pledge… oops!

Cream teas and concert finales!
‘Give it up’ ends 9pm on Thursday 8th March 2012, which is International Women’s Day. The Ed Sheeran finale concert is on Tues 22nd May and is a reward for people who manage to raise £125 or more*. We will also be holding a celebratory cream tea on Sat 10th March for everyone who has taken part in the event.

Are you up to the challenge? Could you dare ‘Give it up for One25?’
